Botanical name: Acacia willardiana

Striking white peeling bark. Nice accent tree. Spring, fuzzy cream-colored spikes for flowers. Accpets reflected sun. Will grow slowly to 20' x 10'. Can be a great silhouette against a wall with interesting bark & wispy foliage. Native to Sonoran desert of Mexico in warm areas on hillsides. Can frost damage in cold winters.

Common name: Arizona Agave
Botanical name: Agave X arizonica

Smaller-sized agave, grows to about 1' x 1 1/2' . Leaves are dark green and covered with filaments. Accepts full sun and is very drought tolerant. Rare plant in the wild, is native only across a small range in central Arizona.
